Maus Law Firm, located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., proudly serves clients in all of South Florida including Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Hollywood, Pompano Beach, and surrounding areas.
Attorneys at Maus Law Firm have tried more than 130 jury trials, and recovered millions of dollars on behalf of their clients. In fact, most of our cases are referred from our former clients on cases in which we served as the lead accident claims lawyer. The Maus Law Firm has been recognized by the Florida Justice Association, a statewide collection of trial attorneys, is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and is a member of the Trial sections of the Florida Bar Association and Broward Bar Association.
Practicing law in South Florida since 1993, Joseph Maus is a Florida native who currently practices representing victims of injury and accident claims, homeowner property damage claims, and insurance contract disputes.
Maus has been “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell since 2004. An “AV” rating is the highest rating awarded for professional ability and adherence to professional standards of conduct and ethics. Maus has also been recognized since 2010 by Florida Trend Magazine as one of Florida’s “Legal Elite”, and by West Thompson Publishing “Superlawyers” listing in the area of civil trial. Maus is currently admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and all Florida State Courts.
Background on Scholarship
The best minds of tomorrow’s work force have yet to be discovered, and we know that they come from all walks of life and socioeconomic backgrounds. We also believe that any financial support, large or small, can serve as a spark for someone’s education, where a different path may have otherwise been taken. With these beliefs in mind, Maus Law Firm has created a $1,000 scholarship fund.
The Maus Law Firm ‘Title’ Scholarship is open to any student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program by January 1, 2016 at any accredited U.S. college, university or institute.
Each applicant must submit an essay of 500 words or less that includes the following:
(1) Applicant’s name, address, phone number, and the university or institute of attendance as of January 1, 2016.
(2) ESSAY QUESTION: Explain how you think self-driving cars will affect personal injury law.

Each applicant must submit his/her application by using this online form following the above instructions to complete the scholarship application.
– Application Submission Deadline:
August 31, 2016
One student will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.

September 16, 2016
