Ben Picariello received his undergraduate degree from Penn State University in 2015, receiving a BA in Political Science, with minors in Spanish and international studies. During that time, he also studied Latin American Political History and Thought at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), in Argentina. Mr. Picariello then attended the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law in New York City, graduating in 2020. After relocating to Florida, Mr. Picariello worked as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County, where he tried several cases to verdict. Mr. Picariello then transitioned into insurance law and worked to secure Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefits for people injured in car accidents, before coming to the Maus Law Firm, where he primarily handles property insurance cases. He is licensed to practice law in all state courts of Florida, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Picariello is fluent in Spanish, proficient in German, and also plays the cello.
