Ben Picariello received his undergraduate degree from Penn State University in 2015, receiving a BA in Political Science, with minors in Spanish and international studies. During that time, he also studied Latin American Political History and Thought at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), in Argentina. Mr. Picariello then attended the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law in New York City, graduating in 2020. After relocating to Florida, Mr. Picariello worked as a prosecutor in Miami-Dade County, where he specialized in misdemeanor cases, such as DUI, shoplifting, and battery. Mr. Picariello then transitioned into insurance law and worked to secure Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefits for people injured in car accidents, before coming to the Maus Law Firm. Presently, he handles property insurance cases, criminal cases, and bankruptcy cases. He is licensed to practice law in all state, federal, and bankruptcy courts in Florida. Mr. Picariello is fluent in Spanish and German. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and playing the cello.
